Ukraine to create single register of families of fallen soldiers
The Ukrainian authorities plan to create a single register of families of soldiers killed during the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the east of Ukraine, who are not provided with housing, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
He was speaking at a meeting on Sunday with Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, General Staff and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, and State Border Service Head Viktor Nazarenko, according to Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda.
"We will create a single register of all services: the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, Border Guards, Security Service, Emergency Service, and the State Service of special vehicles,” Yatseniuk said.
“[This will be] a register of those who took part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation and who were killed in the line of duty," Yatseniuk said.
