EU mission on implementation of visa-free regime to arrive in Ukraine
A mission of the European Union to assess the progress of Ukraine in implementing an action plan for visa-free regime with the EU will arrive in Ukraine on February 4, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said on Monday at a meeting of the Council of reforms under the President of Ukraine.
"The mission is to analyze the implementation of all of the stages of the visa-free regime," Yatseniuk said.
"We expect that Ukraine will receive not only a positive signal, but it will receive the same legal regime for visa-free travel of Ukrainians to member states of the European Union that European citizens have today in Ukraine," he said.
As reported earlier, Yatseniuk said that the EU could decide on setting up a visa-free regime with Ukraine in May.
