“Results of anti-inflation measures will be noticeable in six months,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced at press conference today. According to her, the Government needs half a year to make inflation slow down, according to the government’s press-office.
The Premier of Ukraine reminded that the democratic Government had inherited a hyperinflation from the previous government which equals to 17%. “It is impossible to reduce inflation in two weeks which was increasing during the previous preceding one and a half year,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
She assured that the Program on anti-inflation measures drafted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is under implementation in corpore. “I believe, we can see the first results of this work already in six months,” the Head of Government added.
