Some 1.35 million Ukrainian tourists visited Turkey in 2018.

"The number of tourists from Ukraine who visit Turkey steadily increases every year. Last year saw a record high number – 1.350 million," Ukraine's Ambassador to Turkey Andriy Sybiha tweeted on January 25.

He said opportunities of expanding cooperation between Ukrainian and Turkish tour operators had been discussed with representatives of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies.

As was reported, citizens of Ukraine can travel to Turkey without a visa for up to 90 days within 180 days.

In addition, Ukrainians can use ID cards to enter Turkey.

As UNIAN reported, Turkish Airlines plans to launch direct flights from Boryspil Airport to the Turkish resort town of Bodrum.
