Russian proxies in Donbas block ICRC aid
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGSU) says Russian proxy forces in Donbas have denied access of three trucks with humanitarian aid deployed the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the occupied areas of Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine.
A convoy of four trucks with 83 tonnes of humanitarian aid was set to cross into the occupied territory through the Novotroyitske checkpoint, the SBGSU's press center reported on March 7.
However, the militants denied entry of three of the said vehicles, which were forced to head back to the Ukrainian-controlled territory.
Russian proxies provided no explanations of their move.
