The Defense Ministry of Ukraine does not plan to introduce any changes into the format of Ukrainian peacemakers’ participating in KFOR.
Defense Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov claimed this in an interview to Kommersant daily (of March 24).
“No changes are planned. Everything is normal there. Every morning I receive information about the situation in Kosovo. The respective reports appear on my table at 07.45 every morning. In an hour, Ukrainian Army General Headquarters chief reports to me”, Yuri Yekhanurov claimed.
At the same time, he stressed that the problems that took place in the north of Kosovo, were the problem of planning.
The Minister added that Ukraine has not received any proposals concerning taking part in new peacemaking missions.
