SBU detains group of 27 saboteurs in Odesa
A group of 27 saboteurs who were preparing attacks in the city of Odesa were detained by Ukraine’s SBU security service during a special operation, Presidential Press Secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.
"The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a dangerous subversive group of 27 people in Odesa. SBU Chairman Valentyn Nalyvaichenko has just reported this to the president," Tseholko said.
"The officers found rocket launchers and plans of infrastructure in the region, in particular the plans of ports. Two of the detainees are suspected of plotting the assassination of an MP," he said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, ten saboteurs who the security service said were preparing attacks on the day of the liberation of Odesa were detained by the SBU during another special operation.
