Ukraine boosts meat production

During January-February of the current year, meat production in Ukraine made up 490.3 thousand tons, which is by 6.9% more compared to the same showing of the last year.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, over the two first months of the current year, milk production trimmed by 2.5%, compared with the same period of the year 2007 – to 1 million 203.8 thousand tons.

Besides, the production of eggs increased by 0.7% - to 1 billion 969 million items.
