SBU detains judge for accepting $15,000 bribe

In particular, law enforcement officers recorded the receiving of a $15,000 bribe by the judge for delivering a judgment of bankruptcy with respect to a state-owned enterprises.

During searches of official premises of the judicial institution and of the judge, law enforcement officers seized cash received as bribes.

Currently, the Security Service is verifying information about other cases of illegal activities of the judge and the possible involvement of his accomplices.

 Earlier, UNIAN reported that the deputy head of the Shevchenko district administration was detained while receiving a bribe of UAH 73,500.
