Some 47 towns and villages in Ukraine's three regions have reported power cuts after the power line safety system was activated amid the bad weather, namely wet snow and strong winds.

In particular, the electricity supply was disrupted in 41 towns and villages in Ivano-Frankivsk region, three in Kyiv region and Chernivtsi region each, the State Emergency Service's press service has said.
Regional energy distribution companies deployed their repair teams to eliminate the aftermath of the blackouts.
The State Emergency Service provided assistance in towing 116 vehicles in which there were 246 people. Some 20 fallen trees were removed.
