"Such cooperation will be permanently maintained via the platform of the National Coordinating Center for Cybersecurity (or NCCC, the working body of the NSDC of Ukraine) and representatives of U.S. companies that develop technologies and equipment for cybersecurity and protection: Cisco, Fortinet, IBM, Microsoft, [UK-headquartered] Micro Focus, as well as Israel's Radware," the NSDC's press service said after a meeting between representatives of the NSDC and the largest international companies specializing in cybersecurity.

Danilov stressed the need to develop effective tools for such cooperation and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support to this process.

"Cybersecurity is not a one-country problem. When a threat has been identified, we are aware it may affect more than one country. Working together to deal with such threats is much more effective. Therefore, now we need to establish a mechanism of cooperation in the field of protection against cyber threats," he said.

During the meeting, NSDC employees presented the NCCC's capabilities and discussed the exchange of best cybersecurity practices. Moreover, the sides touched on ways to cooperate between the NSDC and private international companies for the development of the NCCC service platform.
