The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at its today’s session, has adopted a financial plan of Naftohaz Ukrayiny for the year 2008.
Fuel-Energy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Prodan disclosed this to journalists today.
Finance Minister of Ukraine Victor Pinzenyk claimed after the government’s session that the Naftohaz plan is balanced, “there is profit”. At the same time, he did not go into any other detail.
“We have managed to achieve a balanced document, all sources of covering [expenses] are stipulated, including due to optimizing Naftohaz expenses”.
In line with the financial plan, Naftohaz incomes were adopted at the level of 75 billion hryvnias [~US $15 bln].
As UNIAN reported earlier, on April 7, top deputy President’s Chief of Staff Oleksander Shlapak claimed that Pm Yulia Tymoshenko vowed to adopt Naftohaz Ukrayiny financial plan as early as on April 9.
Earlier the President claimed that Naftohaz was on the verge of bankruptcy.
