At its sitting on Wednesday the Government considered and approved a Concept of the State Target Program on Protection of Consumers for 2008-2011, according to the President`s press-office.
According to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, henceforth the Government starts quite a serious strategy of control and responsibility of all producers concerning quality of foodstuff and drinking water.
Yulia Tymoshenko noted that starting next week the Government would hold public open meetings for drafting in every direction efficient mechanisms aiming to prevent consumption of poor drinking water and foodstuff by the citizens of Ukraine. “I believe we are able to introduce in Ukraine an absolutely new approach for regulating these issues,” the Prime Minister stressed.
