Another two cases of the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Ukraine, says the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine

Two more cases were confirmed in Chernivtsi region, the report says.

In total, there are five cases of infection in Ukraine, including one lethal.

"Based on the results of a study of the Center's virological reference laboratory, five positive results were obtained on COVID-19: Chernivtsi (4) and Zhytomyr (1) regions," reads the report.

UNIAN memo. The Chinese authorities reported an outbreak of pneumonia of unknown origin in Wuhan late in December 2019.

The causative agent of the disease was a new type of coronavirus, COVID-19. The virus is transmitted from person to person, with the incubation period lasting at least two weeks.

On January 30, the World Health Organization declared an international emergency over the spread of the novel coronavirus from China.
