Half of patients with COVID-19 being treated at home – Ukraine's Health Ministry
Of the current 804 cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine, almost 50% of patients have been hospitalized in health facilities, with one patient connected to a ventilator.
"Today we have 804 coronavirus cases, 398 people have been hospitalized in medical facilities. The rest are undergoing outpatient treatment at home. Twenty children and 26 health workers are among those hospitalized. There is only one patient treated with the use of a lung ventilator," Ukraine's Chief Medical Officer Viktor Liashko said at a briefing on Thursday, as reported by the Health Ministry on Telegram.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine had risen to 804 by Thursday morning.
