Sixty-four medics tested positive for COVID-19 on April 13, which is a quarter of all confirmed cases in the past 24 hours, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov told a Kyiv briefing broadcast via a video link.

"Over the past 24 hours, lab centers across Ukraine PCR-confirmed 270 new COVID-19 cases, including 64 medics. Sixty-nine people were admitted to hospitals, including three children," the minister said, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

Four patients are on lung ventilators, 23 people recovered, while five died, Stepanov noted.
