Swedish bridegroom arrested at wedding
On suspicion of an organized crime killing in Ukraine
A Swedish bridegroom reportedly was arrested at his wedding on suspicion of an organized crime killing in Ukraine, UPI reports.
The 29-year-old suspect was about to marry his bride at Malmo City Hall Saturday when police entered the building and took him into custody, the Swedish News Agency TT reported Sunday.
Malmo officials reportedly tracked down the groom after getting a tip from Interpol that he was wanted as a suspect in an organized crime killing in the 1990s.
The bride was aware her fiance was being investigated for a killing but was very upset with how the wedding ended, the report said.
