President repeats ”no” to Odessa Port Plant privatization

Communicating to journalists in Odesa, President Victor Yushchenko stressed that he expects the Government to take his remarks about Odessa Port Plant privatization into consideration.

According to the President`s press-office, Victor Yushchenko repeated himself again that he supports privatization of the facility, yet emphasized that the pipeline and the Pivdenny Port should remain in state property. He also added that neither Odesa Regional Administration does not support Government proposed scheme of the plant privatization.

“I hope that the Government would treat these remarks with understanding, examine them and take them into account”, - said President Yushchenko.
