President Victor Yushchenko expressed surprise and concerns to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko about the fact that although school graduate testing to be held already tomorrow is very important and the amount of efforts put into its preparation was huge, the Government is late with inspecting if everything has been prepared properly.
According to the President`s press-office, Victor Yushchenko also stressed that for 512 thousand children, who will come tomorrow to the testing points, the results of their tests may be decisive for their future lives. Therefore he emphasized that currently it is a top priority task for the Government to hold testing properly and to do all necessary steps to ensure efforts of pupils, their parents, teachers and of all, who contributed to arranging the testing were not wasted.
In the opinion of the President, looking into the eyes of children, who have been preparing to the testing day and night, the Prime Minister will not be able to repeat her statement about canceling the testing.
