The State Property Fund of Ukraine received 160 million 281.9 thousand hryvnias from privatization during January-June of 2006. UNIAN was told about this at the press-service of the Fund.

      The Fund exceeded the Finance Ministry’s plan for the first half-year by 24.5%. [According to the plan, the receipts from privatization should have made 128.7 million hryvnias - UNIAN].

      As of 3 July, the Fund transferred to the state budget 153 million 914.6 thousand hryvnias of receipts from privatization.

      The press-service also disclosed that in the first half-year SPFU received 153 million 708.57 thousand hryvnias from leasing state property, which exceeds the plan by 22%. The receipts from dividends on state share holdings made up 212 million 689 thousand hryvnias (by 84% more than the plan).

      The Fund points out that the total of means, received in the first half-year, made up 526 million 679.47 thousand hryvnias, compared to the planned 370.1 million hryvnias.

      As UNIAN reported before, Mykola Azarov, chairman of the parliamentary committee on budget policy and a senior member of the Party of Regions, predicted a “budget catastrophe” in performance of the state budget-2006. “It has became evident: we will face a budget catastrophe, and the current authorities have been taking great pains to conceal it”, M.Azarov said, speaking in the parliament yesterday during the hearing on budget issues.
