Cabinet of Ministers has raised a quota for export of sunflower-seed oil and cancelled limitations on export of grain, according to the government’s press-office. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced such a decision was adopted today during the Govt’s sitting. According to her, export quote for sunflower-seed oil has been increased by 200 thousand tons. “I can assure it will not entail any price ripple in negative direction. Only in positive, we believe.”
According to Ukraine’s Prime Minister such Govt’s decision is joined to approach of new harvest gathering campaign. “In case nature conditions favourable Ukraine will have sufficiently high yield,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed. In such a way, she was heard as saying, the Government has settled liberalization of the system of export of grain and sunflower-seed oil.
In addition Premier of Ukraine informed that prices for sunflower-seeds oil has been stabilized and gradually go down, hence there is no need to take additional preventive measures.
