State Guard Department of Ukraine chief Valeriy Heletey has arrived to the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU), and is consulting with Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko, who was removed from SPFU chief with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers today.
Acting SPFU chief Andriy Portnov, who was installed today by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, has said this to UNIAN.
“I may only surmise what they are talking about”, said the acting SPFU chief.
According to A.Portnov, the information about seizure of the State Property Fund, disseminated by some mass media today, does not correspond to reality.
“We arrived together with the Prime Minister to the Fund today. Yulia Volodymyrivna even refused from a cortege car”, said the acting SPFU chief.
As UNIAN reported earlier, today Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko installed Andriy Portnov as the acting SPFU chief.
On February 6 of the current year, the Cabinet of Ministers removed Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko from post of State Property Fund chief, and appointed Andriy Portnov as acting SPFU chief.
Besides, the government appointed three new deputy chairmen of the SPFU.
However, as early as on 7 February, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko suspended the government’s decree on removal V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko from the SPFU chief post.
