3-ball earthquake strikes Odessa

An earthquake was recorded in Odessa at 11.02-11.04 a.m. on May 7.

According to the information of the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency, the earthquake magnitude made up 3 balls by the Richter scale.

The epicenter was situated in the sea, at the distance of approximately 120 km to the south from Odessa, near the Zmiyiny Island.

At present, the City Emergency Department has not recorded any victims of the earthquake. According to Odessa residents, who witnessed the quake, it was rather strong in the seaport area.
