Tymoshenko hails President of Russian Federation Medvedev with official assuming office

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko congratulated Dmitriy Medevedev with inauguration and wished him high achievements on the post of President of the Russian Federation, according to the President`s press-office.

In a Government telegram Ukrainian Premier expressed assurance that election of Dmitriy Medvedev as president would ensure succession of power and irreversibility of the country’s course, supported by real achievements and serving interests of the Russians.

Yulia Tymoshenko also aired her belief that friendly relations between Russia and Ukraine would further strengthen.
