The scenarios on the training ground were practice, but the type of situations - all too real. Experienced Georgian and Israeli officers conducted the exercises, Ukraine Today reported.
Many of the team members served in Ukraine's army, in direct combat operations against militant forces along the restive Russian border. Although demobilized, they decided to extend their contracts.
This is not the first time foreign military exercises have helped Ukrainian soldiers - nor will it be the last. More similar sessions are planned.
