The government will make steps in response to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine concerning the privatization and exploration of the Black Sea Shelves.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this speaking at the extraordinary session of the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday.
“The session will be devoted to two very important issues, which need an additional discussion at the government, with, of course, making proper decisions”, Yulia Tymoshenko said.
The Prime Minister stressed that the extraordinary session of the Cabinet of Ministers is held due to the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on the privatization and the package of documents on the Black Sea Shelf exploration.
Yulia Tymoshenko recalled that, at the presidential election in 2004, the new ruling team vowed during the Orange Revolution to carry out a fair privatization at real competitive bases, with real strategic programs for companies developments, and with taking into account the demands of labor collectives.
“As of today, the fair privatization in the country was stopped. And I would like that all these issues be considered at the government’s session today”, the Prime Minister proposed.
