Tymoshenko marks record volumes of investments to Ukraine in Q1

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko marks record volumes of investments in Ukraine in the first quarter of this year over the 17 years of the Ukraine independence.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers today.
Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that the government managed to attract 3.4 bln US dollars of investment s in Q1 thanks to its program for improving the investment climate in Ukraine.
According to her, the investments showing in Q1 exceeds by 4 times the showing over the same period of the last year.
“It indicates that we chose the right way. We do everything necessary for the economics”, Yulia Tymoshenko noted. She added that if the privatization processes were normal, the showing of investments would increase by 20 times.
