NSDC to consider Vanco issue in two weeks – Shlapak

The issue of Vanco company activities in Ukraine will be considered at a National Security and Defense Council session in two weeks.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, top deputy President’s Chief of Staff Oleksander Shlapak claimed this to journalists today.

“I’m confident this issue will be considered at NSDC in two weeks”, O.Shlapak said.

He added that the President’s Secretariat is not an expert on this issue, so, they have to carry out additional consultations with lawyers.

The Deputy Chief of Staff expressed a regret that the government did not obey the NSDC decision on setting up a special commission to probe into legality of the contract between Vanco and Ukraine.
