Ukrainian army gets over 1,700 pieces of military equipment, weapons in 2015

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received more than 1,700 pieces of military equipment and weapons in 2015, spokesman for the Defense Ministry Colonel Olekiy Chernobay said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.


"State-owned enterprises continue to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with new and modernized weapons, as well as military equipment. According to the state defense order for 2015, the Ukrainian army received 1,753 pieces of armaments and military equipment, as well as over 400,000 missiles and ammunition," he said.
