Lightning stroke ignited Kyiv Pechersk Lavra

The 21st administrative corps of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra caught fire from a stroke of lightning at 17.00 on June 12.

According to the Emergency Ministry’s Kyiv directorate, the fire enveloped an area of around 100 square meters.

Fire brigades have arrived at the scene.
