President writes letter to Verkhovna Rada

President Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter to the Verkhovna Rada, according to the President`s press-office.

In his letter President emphasized importance and urgency of draft State privatization program 2008-2012 reconsideration by the parliament.

According to him current program has lost its relevancy in current conditions and needs to be revised. Also, in President’s opinion, the draft laws offered by the Cabinet in that field conserve outdated mechanisms of privatization.

Proceeding from that in his letter President Yushchenko offered his notes and suggestions to the program and related draft-laws to be considered by the Verkhovna Rada during revision of the State privatization program 2008-2012.
