"LPR" militant confirms Savchenko captured before Russian journos died
An "LPR" militant referred to by callsign "Ilim" said in an interview with Meduza he was the one who captured the Ukrainian female pilot Nadia Savchenko, then bringing her to Luhansk.
The terrorist claims that Savchenko was taken prisoner before noon on June 17, 2014, that is, before the shelling of Metalist settlement resulting in the death of two Russian journalists, reads the report.
It is noted that “Ilim” was not invited to court hearings as a witness. Instead of him Dmitry Oslovsky, callsign Bekas, and Sergey Moiseyev, aka Cap, testified. According to the version of Savchenko’s capture presented by investigators, it was Bekas who took part in Savchenko’s detention and Cap who took her to Luhansk.
During the interviews, both militants testified that they had captured Nadia Savchenko at the time after the Russian journalists got under the shelling.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the judge of the court in the Russian city of Rostov on March 21 started announcing Savchenko’s verdict, the procedure expected to be finished on Tuesday, March 22.
