Ukraine has joined working groups of all 29 countries entering the World Trade Organization.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Deputy Economics Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Pyatnytskiy claimed this to a press conference today.
He stressed that countries enter WTO at different rates, and sessions of working groups on some countries were not carried out for several years.
As of today, Ukraine works most actively in groups on WTO accession of CIS countries, in particular, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Belarus.
First of all, according to the deputy Minister, they study commercial regimes of these countries, and gather information about problems faced by Ukrainian companies that export their production into these countries.
In particular, Ukraine has questions to Russia about sanitary and phyto-sanitary norms, technical procedures, and export duties.
