Due to high crop expected in 2008, Ukraine will be able to export 15 mln tonnes of grain to the sum of USD 4 bln, reported Andrew Goncharuk, Deputy of Head of President Ukraine Secretariat on June, 16, according to APK-Inform.

This year, Ukrainian grain harvest is forecasted to total 40 mln tonnes, reminded A. Goncharuk. Therefore, taking into account 5.5 mln tonnes stocks of grains in the government reserve, Ukraine can use nearly 46 mln tonnes of grains in trade operations, mentioned he.

At the same time, the government doesn`t have enough funds for agroindustrial complex of Ukraine, which needs nearly UAH 1.5 bln (USD 322.58 mln) for development.
