710 thousand tourists visited Prykarpattya in first half-year

710 thousands of tourists visited Prykarpattya in the first half of the current year.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, it was announced at a session of the board of the Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast State Administration.

As of beginning of July, 97 licensed tourist operators and agents provided travel services in the Oblast. Besides, there are 130 tourist-recreational institutions for 9.2 thousand tourists, and 467 cottages for countryside and “green” tourism for 3.8 thousand tourists.

During the first half-year, 30 new tourist facilities were built, and 19 were reconstructed in the region.

On the whole, 38 opportunities for investing into the tourism sphere were worked out in Prykarpattya.
