"Taking into account our agreements of yesterday [with Gazprom - UNIAN], we may have 14.5-15 billion cubic meters of gas belonging to Naftogaz Ukrainy by the end of the pumping period," Yulia Tymoshenko said during the opening of a government meeting on Wednesday.

Tymoshenko said that this would help maintain current gas prices into the autumn and winter season.

As UNIAN reported earlier, according to the information of Naftohaz Ukrayiny press-center, at least 55 billion cubic meters of Central Asian gas at the price of $179.50 per 1,000 cubic meters will be supplied to Ukraine in 2008.
