The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) made decision to bar the entry to Russian State Duma member Konstantin Zatulin, and brought a criminal case against him for his attempts to destabilize the situation in Ukraine during the celebration of the 1020th anniversary of the Kyiv Rus Orthodox Baptism.

UNIAN was informed about it by a source from SBU.

According to the information of the source, SBU brought the criminal case on articles 14 and 294 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, having received the information that K.Zatulin and Kirill Frolov, a representative of the CIS Countries Institute, were trying to destabilize the situation in Ukraine during the celebration of the 1020th anniversary of the Kyiv Rus Orthodox Baptism.

According to the information of the news agency’s interlocutor, K.Zatulin, the top deputy chairman of the Russian parliamentary committee for CIS issues, was detained in the Symferopol airport in the evening of July 24. According to the information of Russian mass media, K.Zatulin arrived in Ukraine to take part in a tennis tournament in Crimea on the eve of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Day celebration.
