President Victor Yushchenko addressed Ministry of Education of Ukraine with a request to guarantee rights of university entrant in the western parts of Ukraine, which had suffered from recent storms and floods, according to the President`s press-office.
“Due to the natural disaster communication with some districts in the western regions of Ukraine has been cut. Therefore there is a risk that children from these districts, who earlier had gained right to enter higher education facilities, now can’t get to these facilities to provide all necessary papers and thus will be dismissed from the lists”, - said Victor Yushchenko.
With regard to that he asked Minister for Education to work out solution to the problem and to extend time constrains for providing necessary papers for the children from the flooded regions of Ukraine.
