Ukraine: government plans to procure 400.000 tones of wheat

The Government of Ukraine has ordered to the State committee of material reserves to procure from internal market about 400.000 tones of new crop wheat. Currently, the State committee is not purchasing grains because of unclear price situation on the market and lack of financing, according to AgriMarket.

But another state organization – Agrarian fund has already actively purchased wheat on the domestic market (3 and 4 grades). The organization plans to purchase about 880.000 of grain in current marketing year.
