Ukraine has arguments to persuade Russia not to rise gas prices

Fuel-Energy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Boyko is convinced that Ukraine has arguments to persuade Russia to not rise the gas prices.

      According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.

      “We carried out preliminary talks at the highest level between the governments of our country and Russia, which indicate that this is quite possible. We will find arguments, which will allow to fulfill it to the extent, determined by the Prime Minister”, he said.

      As UNIAN reported earlier, today Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych claimed about his intent to preserve the current prices on imported gas till the end of the year.
