As of 9.00 a.m. of August 5, 4 million 950 thousand hryvnias were transferred to the charitable account for floods victims opened at the Ukrainian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, top deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.
In particular, P.Rozenko informed that the charitable donations were made by 334 natural persons and 495 legal entities.
According to him, the biggest amounts were transferred by: Enerhoatom national nuclear power-generating company (1 million hryvnias), Odessa Pre-Port Plant OJSC (250 thousand hryvnias), Bohdan corporation (250 thousand hryvnias), the Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine (165 thousand hryvnias), and “Children’s World” OJSC (100 thousand hryvnias).
The Minister stressed that the funds from the account are used only in line with decisions of a special commission headed by Top Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksander Turchynov.
