Second reactor of Rivne NPP halted

The second reactor of the Rivne nuclear power plant was halted for a scheduled repairs at 00.40 on 15 August.

      According to the press-service of Energoatom national nuclear power-generating company, the reactor is undergoing pre-repairs tests.

      As of today, 11 out of 15 reactors are operating at Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

      The first reactor of the South-Ukrainian NPP, the second reactor of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, and the first reactor of the Rivne NPP have been undergoing scheduled repairs.
