No servicemen of Ukrainian Armed Forces stay in Georgia
Except for two UN Mission observers – Defense Ministry
As of August 11, no servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, except for military observers of the UN Mission to this country, stay in Georgia.
UNIAN was informed about this at the press-service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
Only two out of five military observers of the UN Mission have remained in the country. The other three went on regular vacations at the Ukrainian territory, the Ministry informs.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on basis of the Ukrainian President’s Decree #595/2001 dated 07.08.01, 5 military men of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fulfill UN Mission tasks in Georgia as military observers.
