Ukrainian border guards withdrew arms from five Russians
They were trying to illegally convey it through the border
Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian border guards withdrew arms and ammunition from five citizens of Russia who were trying to illegally convey the arms through the border.
According to the press-service of the Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, in particular, a 51-year old Tver resident was trying to illegally bring in Ukraine a gun with rubber bullets and two magazine cases with bullets. The Russian citizen hid the arms in an elbow board of his Toyota Prado car. The confiscated arms were transferred to the Kharkiv Oblast customs house.
Meanwhile, according to the State Border Guard Service, arms were withdrawn from another four Russians at the territory of Crimea, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv Oblasts. In particular, three guns with rubber bullets, and a gas gun with 20 cartridges, were withdrawn from them.
