Kyiv subway conveyed almost 397 million passengers

Kyiv subway conveyed 396.8 million passengers over 7 months of 2008. The transportation plan was fulfilled by 103.7%, according to the information of Kyiv Subway communal company’s press service.

The number of transported passengers increased by 33.9 million compared with the same period of the last year.

The Svyatoshinsko-Brovarska subway branch is the most crowded one. It conveyed 187.7 million passengers over the mentioned-above period. Besides, 114.4 and 94.7 million passengers were conveyed by the Kyrenevsko-Krasnoarmeiska and Syrecko-Pecherska lines respectively.

The average daily transportation is 1.9 million passengers.
