Yushchenko personally helped unblock Ukraine ships in Georgia - MFA

All the Ukrainian ships that had been blocked in the Georgian port of Poti were successfully freed thanks to the diplomatic efforts of the Ukrainian side and personal interference of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Kostyantyn Yeliseyev, special envoy of the Ukrainian President to Georgia and deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, said this to a news conference.

“All Ukrainian ships that were blocked in the port of Poi were successfully pulled out and are heading to their ports”, K.Yeliseyev said.

He specified that all the three Ukrainian ships were liberated as early as on Tuesday evening.
