The State Department of the Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine has intent to lift the ban on the meat import from Belarus during April 4-5. UNIAN was informed about this by department chief Ivan Bisiuk.

He noted: “We accorded the principal issues with them”, I.Bisiuk said, adding that the Belarussian side will attach the corresponding documents to all the production, exported to Ukraine.

Asked about the ban on the meat import from Moldova and Poland, I.Bisiuk noted that, as of today, Ukraine has many questions to these countries. “The ban from them will not be removed shortly”, he stressed. According to him, a meeting with the Polish side to discuss the situation is scheduled for late April.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine banned the import of meat from Poland, Belarus, and Moldova on 26 March.
