Deflation recorded in Ukraine for second month already

A small deflation was recorded in Ukraine on results of August of 2008.

UNIAN was informed about this by a source from the Ministry of Economics.

“There is a small deflation, around 0.1%, on results of August”, the source said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a deflation at 0.5%, was recorded in Ukraine in July to June of 2008; in July to June of 2008 the inflation was 26.8%.
