The police source also told the newspaper that "the amount of explosive used was only enough to target the driver, and nobody around."
"It was intended to target only the victim of the murder," the source said, according to the newspaper.
As was reported earlier, Pavlo Sheremet, a journalist working for the Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper, was killed in a car blast on July 20. The car being driven by Sheremet belonged to Olena Prytula, his common-law wife and the owner of Ukrainska Pravda.
