Ukraine is in the 145th place among 181 countries in the rating of the World Bank on the ease of doing business, down by four points compared to last ywar. The new rating was released in the World Bank report "Doing Business in 2009" on September 10, according to Kyiv Post.

Ukraine is in the 145th place among 181 countries in the rating of the World Bank on the ease of doing business, down by four points compared to last ywar. The new rating was released in the World Bank report "Doing Business in 2009" on September 10.

The rating was based on 10 business indicators: time required to start a business, dealing with licenses, employment of workers, registration of property, obtaining credit, protection of investors, payment of taxes, trading across borders, enforcement of contracts, and closing of businesses.

The ranking does not take into account any macroeconomic policies, quality of infrastructure, exchange-rate fluctuations, opinions of investors, and crime levels.

Previously, Ukraine was appointed the following ratings by other organizations :

-the 128th place according to the Time Required To Start A Business indicator, -179th place according to the Dealing With Licenses indicator, -100th place according to the Employment Of Workers indicator, -140th place according to the Registration Of Property indicator, -28th place according to the Obtaining Credit indicator, -142nd place according to the Protection Of Investors indicator, -180th place according to the Payment Of Taxes indicator, -131st place according to the Trading Across Borders indicator, -49th place according to the Enforcement Of Contracts indicator, -143rd place according to the Closing Of Businesses indicator.
